About the Presenter
Chip Neuenschwander is a marriage and family therapist based in Wayzata, Minnesota, specializing in helping couples build deeper connection and lasting intimacy. With advanced training in Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) and a background in both counseling and educational leadership, Chip brings warmth, insight, and a faith-informed perspective to his work. He regularly leads workshops for churches and community groups and is known for his engaging, practical approach to relationship health. Whether working with couples just starting out or those facing challenges, Chip’s mission is to guide others toward hope, clarity, and connection.

Who is this workshop for?
This workshop is designed for engaged couples who want to deepen their connection and prepare for a lasting relationship.
Do we both need to attend?
Yes, this event includes breakout conversations for both of you to engage in together.
What should we bring?
Just yourselves and a willingness to grow. A folder with materials will be provided. We recommend bringing a favorite pen, a water bottle, and maybe a light sweater if you run cold.
Will food be provided?
Light snacks and beverages will be available throughout the day. Lunch is on your own, and there are several food options nearby.
What’s the schedule for the day?
The workshop runs from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM, with breaks throughout the day, including a one-hour lunch. The schedule includes teaching, reflection time, and private couple exercises.
Will we be asked to share personal things with the group?
While there will be some optional large group discussion, the heart of this workshop is between you and your partner. No one is required to share personal information publicly if they do not want to.
Do we need to be Christian to attend?
The content is grounded in evidence-based practices, and spiritual principles are presented in a respectful way. While we draw from the Christian faith, this workshop is welcoming to people from all backgrounds.
